A cat was found three days after the tornado attack
The tornado attacked Wakasa district of Saroma Town in Hokkaido, Japan's northern most prefecture on Friday, 7th.
On Friday, three days after the attack, a cat was rescued from the rubble of a broken house.
"I thought he was blown away by the tornado." said Kojiro Sasakki, the owner of the cat, with smile on his face.
The news of an innocent life that had lived in the dark space under the wreck brightened up the heart of the people in the tornado-stricken area which is now under reconstruction work.
He is one of the three cats Mr. Sasaki owns. He started to dwell in Sasaki's house about three years ago. He was not named but fed by Sasaki every day.
Sasaki's house was completely broken by the tornado, and his other two cats are yet to be found.
A volunteer worker who was clearing the rubbles found the cat peeking out from the stack of rubbles.
When Sasaki took him up, he was shuddering. Sasaki said, " I'm very happy. I'm going to look after him as before."
